I actually had been planning to get epicanthoplasty too because I wanted the inner corners of my eyes to look pointed.. So during the consultation, the director pushed the inner-corner area with his hand to show me it would look like this, and I went, “Aaah!!” ㅋㅋㅋㅋ After that he didn’t recommend it anymore?ㅋㅋㅋ... He said if I even disliked the slight lacrimal caruncle showing in my current eyes, it would be better not to do it. Thinking about it now, that was the best move god...
Other than that, he still matched all the lines and the overall feel I wanted. I was thinking about doing the same buried suture method again, but I went with natural adhesion. I don’t have to get stitches removed, and it’s honestly so much more comfortable than buried sutures....ㅠㅠㅠ
If you look, the 3rd photo is from one week after, right? At first the lines were uneven ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ It wasn’t severe, but every time I looked in the mirror I felt so upsetㅠ.ㅠ...... I couldn’t even cry because I was worried my eyes would swell, so I was sobbing loudly on the inside, seriously.
But once exactly 3 weeks passed, the swelling went down and the lines just snapped into place......ㅇ0ㅇ People said swelling can go down unevenly, and it was true! Everyone who hasn’t been long since double eyelid surgery, time really is the medicine..
There’s still some residual swelling, but now I’m slowly starting to wear a little makeup. It feels completely different from the super thin double eyelids I had before surgery, so I love itㅠㅠㅠ
Once it’s been 1 month, most of the swelling will probably be gone, right? I want the swelling to hurry up and go away completely so I can do strong eye makeup and go to an end-of-year party pangpangparapang
