She gave the consultation comfortably and explained things at the eye level of someone with no cosmetic surgery knowledge. So I think my question of whether I really had to use autologous costal cartilage was resolved. My nose was short and small, but the nasal bones were spread and wide, so she said osteotomy had to be done for the result to look pretty and high, so I also had osteotomy.. Because of the osteotomy, the bruising lasted a bit long. I often used the bruise cream the hospital gave me and warm compresses haha
I came to understand why autologous costal cartilage should be used even for a first nose surgery, so I thought, let’s trust them and go for it! and had short nose surgery with autologous costal cartilage. After some time passed, the line that had looked strange because of swelling settled, and now it is somewhere between straight and straight-with-a-slight-curve? It became exactly the shape I wanted, so I’m happy. When I went for a follow-up around one month, the doctor looked at the wound condition at the autologous costal cartilage incision site and said scar laser could be done, and asked if I could tolerate stinging well, so I went in thinking I should get it even if it hurt, and also got laser on the incision scar on my side.. It tingles and stings, but they said they would do it as a service every time I come for follow-up, so I’m going to try to get it as much as possible whenever I go.

She carefully asked if there was anything else uncomfortable, and she was so kind that I felt like I was with someone I knew, without any discomfort lol Somehow I think if I had done it at one of the other places I consulted, the care might have been different, and I might not have been able to see the doctor after surgery, so I think I would have felt a bit uneasy...
When I see classmates at school, they say the impression of my face has changed! Before, I had a strong cute image, but now they say I also look masculine and refined haha.. Since they say it nicely, I feel good and happy. RU Plastic Surgery is a go-to place for men’s nose surgery! I don’t think you’ll regret it at all.
