Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

My Nth Nose Revisionㅠ I had revision surgery because of contracture, and I love it so much. What do you think…

Before before before before after after after after after after It’s been about two months since I had revision surgery for my contracted nose! Honestly, I’d heard a lot that surgery for a contracted nose isn’t an easy surgery like regular nose surgery, so at first I was really worried and kept thinking, what if it doesn’t go well again? But I couldn’t just live like this, you know..?! I made a big decision and went for my 3rd revision. It’s been two months now, and I’m really, really satisfied!!

First, after my previous surgery, I got inflammation and had the silicone removed, and then contracture developed..? ㅠㅠ From the front it looked like a pig nose, my nose length got shorter, the columella became crooked,,, and my whole face looked more asymmetrical... Since my nose wasn’t pretty, I felt embarrassed facing people, so I habitually covered it with my hand and couldn’t even look properly, anyway that’s how it was

The hospital where the contracture happened also said they would do the revision for me, but I couldn’t do it there again, and there were also other places that said they couldn’t operate ??ㅎㅎ Anyway, here the director said they could do it, and the way they spoke gave me so much confidence and trust that I think I just scheduled the surgery date right away

For the surgery, we decided to use autologous costal cartilage + silicone + ear cartilage to lengthen the short nose downward a bit and also correct the crooked columella!

Since it was my nth surgery tooㅠㅠ and first of all my tissue condition wasn’t good, I didn’t hope for anything more and just had surgery hoping only that my upturned nose would come down?? Usually when I wake up after surgery, they put cotton in both nostrils, making it hard to breathe, but here there was no cotton inside the nose, so that was niceㅠㅠ First of all, it didn’t hurt right afterwardㅎㅎ

At first, because of the splint, I couldn’t properly check the height or anything, but I could see so, so clearly even right after surgery that the nostrils had come down, and from the side it didn’t look upturned either. I seriously just waited for the day the splint would come off

As for pain, from the first day of surgery I had so little pain that I could walk around for 12 hours at a time, and what was a little uncomfortable was..? I had surgery in September, and it was still hot thenㅎㅎ Since autologous costal cartilage was used too, other than the stitched area of my rib being a bit uncomfortable, I don’t remember muchㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Swelling was almost nonexistent right afterward, and on days 2-3 it swelled a bit, but it didn’t swell enough to interfere with daily life!

When I went for my 2-week follow-up, they removed the stitches from the rib area and inside the nose, and when I visited the hospital at one month for follow-up, something like scar tissue had formed inside my nose ㅠㅠ so I got an injection inside the nose, and thankfully it settled down!! Whew.. Now I’m at two months, and the scar tissue inside my nose is gone. The swelling has almost all gone down, so unless I specifically say this is a surgically operated nose, it looks really natural, and people around me keep only saying it turned out well, to the point that nobody believes it used to be a contracted nose!! I really hope contracture never comes again, seriously...!!

Thank you for reading my long review!! This is a bragging postㅎㅎㅎ
