I had surgery last April at Cheongdam ㅁㅇㅁㄷㄱ, and I feel like a lot has changed. My face shape had cheekbones that protruded a lot, whether seen from the front or the side. So whenever I took selfies or photos, I always used an app or focused especially on my face shape when Photoshopping. I think this is the part that changed the most after surgery. Since my face shape looks pretty from any angle, I can get satisfying photos even without Photoshopping them.
After the surgery, the areas I had been concerned about, from the anterior cheekbones to the side cheekbones and the 45-degree cheekbone line, definitely became clean and smooth, and people around me reacted differently too. People I know said the surgery turned out well and that I became prettier in a very natural way, asked which hospital I had it done at, and I feel like I heard that I looked pretty so many times over the past 9 months lol
After surgery, I consistently received follow-up care and also visited the hospital to check my progress, and what surprised me was the director’s memory!... They even remembered something I had said 2 months earlier haha So I think I realized all over again, ah, this is why a private clinic is nice. Since the director takes responsibility and handles everything from beginning to end, I trust them more too. I feel like they take better care of me! The director has a very meticulous personality, and I liked that communication was good.
It has been 9 months since the surgery, and I haven’t had cheek sagging or nonunion. My self-esteem has gone up too, so I think it’s good. lol But because of masks this year, I keep covering my face, so it does feel a bit wasteful to have to cover the face I finally had surgery on~
