Review after incisional revision surgery + entropion, 7 days post-op, after getting the stitches removed...

Before<Before surgery>Before<Before surgery ㅠ double crease double eyelid>After<Day 3>After<Stitches removed>After<Stitches removed>My first surgery was in 2021. I had incisional ptosis correction + lateral canthoplasty. I liked the line, but maybe because of the lateral canthoplasty, I developed a lot of double-crease double eyelids ㅠㅠ And last year I had entropion surgery at an ophthalmology clinic, but it recurred again. My eyelashes were poking my eye and it was functionally really uncomfortable ㅠㅠ Originally, I was planning to have the entropion operated on again at an ophthalmology clinic.

But the double crease bothered me so much that I was looking into double eyelid surgery, and at the plastic surgery clinic where I had a consultation, they said they could operate on the entropion together and handle all the insurance too, so I got the entropion covered by insurance and did it all together while getting double eyelid revision surgery.

For the double eyelid line, I like a more glamorous look, so I asked them to keep the current height and line as they were, and just remove the double crease. Since my previous double eyelid surgery was incisional, this revision was incisional again too ㅜㅜ It has now been 7 days, so I went and got all the stitches removed.

There is still swelling and bruising left, so I can’t say the final result is confirmed yet, but I’m satisfied because the line was maintained as it was and only the double-crease double eyelid disappeared. I heard surgery for overlapping eye lines is quite difficult, so I’m relieved it turned out cleanly ㅠㅠ They made the line really meticulously and cleanly. They also did the entropion very neatly. The eyelash poking and discomfort symptoms are gone. If anything, I think the surgery turned out better than when I had it at the ophthalmology clinic. And I liked that the director personally checked everything, including the stitches, during treatment.

But there is still a lot of swelling left, so after I recover a bit more, I’ll leave another review.
