It has been 1 week since I got the rhinoplasty I had been thinking about for 10 years! It is not yet the time when the shape is definite, but I already feel like I have overcome my complex, so I am leaving a review :3
I was stressed because I had a low, wide, bulbous nose with no nasal bridge at all and wide nostril wings ( ˃̵⌓˂̵) Every time I took photos, I only edited my nose.. When there were times I had to take pictures with friends, I could see myself shrinking back, so I eventually decided on surgery. I researched online and in person for over 6 months, visited more than 6 hospitals, and carefully chose the hospital and surgical method. I had nasal bridge silicone 3mm + nasal tip donated costal cartilage & ear cartilage + nostril wing reduction!
What was really amazing is that right after surgery, other parts of my face except the nose had “no” swelling or bruising at all.. I think it was because the surgery was done delicately and they paid a lot of attention to hemostasis during surgery. After surgery, I never even saw the nosebleed that people say flows afterward.
Also, because I had anxiety about nasal packing, I requested a method that did not use the nasal septum and did not insert packing. There were no variables, and as requested, they did not insert packing, so from right after surgery I had no discomfort at all with breathing or tasting!! I also had no pain, so right after surgery I talked a ton and ate a ton, so I gained a little weight.
The front view is still very swollen, so especially in photos it looks wider, but in real life, I can clearly see that the rounded, spread-out part of the nasal tip has improved, and I now have a nasal bridge, so I am so, so satisfied!! The nasal tip is slim, with no roundness!!!! But it is not pointy ㅠㅠㅠㅠ Amazing. Without a pinched look, without translucency, without 11-shaped nostrils, without asymmetry, Director Song Jinwoo created the natural semi-straight line I wanted, and I would like to thank him,, For now, I am waiting every day for the swelling in my nose to go down quickly haha
