Since it had been 1 year, I went for a follow-up over the holiday, and while I was thinking of it, I’m posting a review too~ I had surgery at Dㅇㅇ(ㅣㅔㅣ) in freezing December, and now it’s been 1 year and 2 months. I had Motiva 300 and 325 placed through the inframammary fold, and I used to wear a 70B cup! Now I wear a 70C~D cup. (Depends on the bra)
Before breast surgery, what I was most curious about was whether I could have the surgery without my boyfriend (the man I’m dating with marriage in mind) knowing, whether I could be discharged without being admitted and get home safely, when I needed to go for follow-ups, and how long recovery would take. It’s been over a year now, and I thought there might be people like me, so I’m writing this to cheer you on.
I didn’t tell my boyfriend a single thing and lied that I was going on a trip, then went to have surgery. I had surgery early in the morning and was discharged the same afternoon. (I got a pain-control injection!! It worked insanely fast..) With the nurse helping me, I went to the hospital room and rested, and I felt okay, so I left around 7~8 p.m. and got home safely by taxi. I tried to take the subway but ....... I couldn’t, so I paid more and took a taxi..
I was curious about when to go for follow-ups after surgery, but this differs by hospital, so please use this only as reference! I went to see the director for follow-ups at 1 week/2 weeks/1 month/3 months/6 months/1 year, and I also went several times in between for radiofrequency care and aftercare. At first, the nerves around the nipple area hurt, and when I ran or moved and my breasts shook, the aching was pretty severe, so I went to the hospital. They said pain can happen during the recovery process, and they told me to especially pay attention to the inframammary incision area while applying ointment consistently! There was a separate breast surgery director who also checked me with ultrasound, and they said there was nothing wrong with the implants, so I felt relieved.ㅠㅠ After going to the hospital, I avoided actions like lifting heavy things.. If possible, it’s definitely better to get careㅠㅠ There’s such a big difference between getting it and not getting it..
How long it takes to recover depends on your skin tissue, body type, condition, etc., so it’s hard to explain exactly, but I think it took me a little while to recover. People with strong immunity and good health will probably recover quickly^^ I just thought of it and wrote this long ramble. Bye-bye haha
