I had monolids and small, clam-like eyes, exactly that, and maybe because my eyes were like this, people seeing me for the first time would ask if I was really Korean; My upper eyelids are definitely much thicker than other people’s. So I would occasionally make double eyelids with double-eyelid tape, but after doing that for about 2 years, the skin on my upper eyelids gradually started to sag. At work, my supervisor asked me several times if I was sleeping I was opening my eyes as wide as possible and looking at the monitor,, anyway, that’s why I decided to get double-eyelid surgery…
