I am considering revision surgery because silicone and tip cartilage are showing through. They say they will remove the silicone, use postauricular dermis for the bridge, use ear cartilage for the step between the bridge and tip, lower the tip, and place additional postauricular dermis over the ear cartilage. But I heard the tip cartilage can still show through even with dermis added, so I am anxious Has anyone lowered the tip and resolved cartilage show-through?
