I went for a consultation today. The doctor and coordinator weren't exceptionally friendly, but overall it wasn't bad. I asked lots of questions, and the doctor explained everything carefully, which reassured me somewhat. They said that because I have no inflammation, contracture shouldn't occur and the surgery wouldn't be difficult. What a relief.. Most of all, they said I would need cotton packing for only one day, which made me very happy No splint either, just tape! They said that because my nose is long and drooping, I should have full implant removal, hump correction, correction of a drooping tip, and nasal surgery for rhinitis. However, although cost is a concern, I think a long nose suits my image, so I plan to remove everything and only shave down the hump..! And rhinitis! Mine is severe haha. I also consulted the ENT doctor I regularly visit locally, and they recommended treating the rhinitis at the same time, so I decided to do that too. But I only looked into one clinic because of its aesthetic sense and cost. Was that the right choice? I haven't said that I'm definitely having surgery yet; I only said I would think about it.. They also said that because the lower part of the silicone is pressing on my nose somewhat, an uneven step could develop. I really don't want that, but if it actually happens, I decided to use my own tissue Thank you so much, everyone, for leaving so many comments yesterday..!!! Thanks to you, I think I relaxed a little I'll keep posting updates..!!!
