<Before/After>After<After>Nasal bridge: silicone 3.8 mm~4 mm Nasal tip: septal cartilage + ear cartilage Surgical method: local anesthesia + sedation
I got my splint removed today!
There’s still plenty of swelling... From the front, it’s like a walrus nose ㅠㅠ Some bruising is showing too... I’m doing warm compresses.
I asked them to make it as natural as possible! The doctor said he would definitely make me prettier but without making it look like I had surgery. He said someone seeing me for the first time wouldn’t know I had surgery, so don’t be disappointed...ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
If you look at my before photos, I had a low, small, slightly upturned nasal tip and a bit of a bulbous nose!
After removing the splint, even though it’s hidden by swelling, the bulbous nose has disappeared to some extent and the lifted tip has come down, so it was really fascinating...!
The hardest thing for me was that breathing was so difficult, that was the haaaardest ㅜㅜ Because I couldn’t taste chicken and Buldak-bokkeum-myeon!!!
The second hardest thing was the huge amount of boogers and.. the damp, sticky tape attached to the splint...
People who get nose surgery have my real respect... Respeeeect...!
Because my face is on the smaller side, my nose is also small, so the septal cartilage inside itself was small too, and they used ear cartilage as well after taking it out! (I didn’t even know they were removing it during surgery, so it was so fascinating)
They said the nasal bridge will become a little lower than now, and the nasal tip will drop a bit more.
It’s still only day 7, so I’m going to look forward to it more ^^
