Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

A lot of people seem curious about what autologous costal cartilage looks like after 1 year…

After<After>After<After>After<After>Before<Before>Before<Before>It’s been one year since I had rhinoplasty using autologous costal cartilage and silicone. It was just an ordinary nose with typically wide nostrils, and compared with that, my nasal bridge wasn’t exactly very low, but because one part looked unattractive, it felt like my whole face looked unattractive overall. At first, I had quite a bit of distrust toward plastic surgery.. and I also wondered why people even did that kind of thing, so I looked into fillers? Hiko? things like that, but even those clinics showed post-procedure photos, and they were nothing like the look I wanted at all;; I didn’t even feel like booking an appointment, and I thought that if I was going to spend this money, it would be better to save a bit more and get rhinoplasty.

As for choosing the clinic.. I didn’t think about it too deeply, so I don’t have much to say, but I just went to consultations at exactly three places that were literally famous for rhinoplasty, not places that were unpopular and no one talked about. (I didn’t go to large clinics.) Maybe because of that, the place where I got surgery made it hard to even book a consultation with the head director? but I just waited. I wasn’t in a rush to get surgery anyway, and thinking about it now, I feel like it’s only natural to have to wait as much as a place is famous. (You wait in line for famous restaurants too, so I think it’s similar to that.)

Honestly, my nostrils were wide, and from the front, it looked like a pig nose;; so I thought they would tell me to do all kinds of things, but the director simply said it would be enough to put in silicone and raise only the nasal tip. Nostril reduction? He asked why I would do that. He said raising the nasal tip would correct all of this. And this was the only place among the consultations I went to where the director looked at the design while drawing pictures, which was really helpful for me because I knew nothing about noses. Here, I came to understand exactly what nose shape I wanted, and when I said, “I want to do it like this~,” the director explained from a doctor’s perspective that the design should be planned this way to bring out my facial features.

I don’t regret using autologous costal cartilage. From the start, donated costal cartilage was someone else’s, so it felt unsettling and didn’t appeal to me, and I went into it thinking my first surgery would be my last surgery. As for the scar, my skin is on the darker side, so it barely shows, and for pain.. it was a year ago, so I don’t remember exactly;; I think it only bothered me for the first few weeks and wasn’t severely painful.

For reference, the only plastic surgery I’ve had is my nose, so other areas.. I’m not really sure. I have quite a few friends around me who’ve had plastic surgery, and personally, between eyes and nose, I think the nose changes the overall vibe the most. In the past, I wondered, “Why get plastic surgery?” but now I’ve become the type to recommend rhinoplasty first, at least ㅋㅋ
