Cheekbone Surgery Reviews@cheekbone-review

Facial contouring surgery for an office worker (used one week of annual leave)

Before-before-after-after Usually, when looking at my face from the front, the facial line including the cheekbones was bumpy and not smooth, and from the side, the square jaw under the ears and the chin somehow looked angular, and I disliked that., Just a face with a wide area? Then while going around for consultations, I urgently made a consultation appointment one week before surgery and visited, and I liked it so much that after the examination, they adjusted the schedule and booked the surgery for me!ㅠ They said they only do one surgery a day, so it was also a hospital that made me feel very reassured, and because I really wanted to have surgery safely, I chose an oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic rather than a plastic surgery clinic, and among them I chose Y Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery!

Day of surgery (10/4) Since the surgery was in the afternoon, I fasted for about a day and visited with my mom! Honestly, even the day before, it didn’t feel real that I was having surgery, but when I saw the director’s face it felt so real, and I was scared, just thinking I hoped I would wake upㅜ.ㅜ

After organizing my belongings, I waited in the recovery room and then moved to the operating room! But at this hospital, guardians can watch the surgery CCTV, and I think that made me feel very reassured! I felt they had that much confidence and that it was safe After moving to the operating room, the anesthesiologist told me, “Once you fall asleep, it will be over!” and I fell asleep right away

And when I woke up, the surgery was all over and I was in the recovery room! Because the anesthetic gas has to leave the body, I had to stay awake, but I kept feeling dazed, so that was hard at first! And from evening to dawn, the nurse in charge came to change my compresses and check my condition, and I was so grateful

<Second day after surgery> After waking like that, the next day they removed the drainage bag. It felt strange for a moment, but I felt much better, and after the compression bandage I was discharged right away! Honestly, I was going to have surgery without telling my parents, but I think a guardian is necessaryㅠ You’re out of it, and it’s harder than expected! Since mine was facial contouring surgery, I was discharged after one day!

<Second day after discharge> After discharge, it was harder than expected because of phlegmy coughing! Because of the phlegm, I kept coughing, but they said I shouldn’t cough, so I really tried to focus on breathing Even drinking water was hard because my mouth wouldn’t open, so you definitely have to buy a sauce bottle from Daiso to drink! I barely managed to drink water, and because I was so hungry, I tried to frequently have things like water, milk, and soy milk! Also, I had to take medicine, but to put pills in my mouth I had to open my mouth, and even that wouldn’t open at first, so taking medicine was hard in the beginning

For brushing, I also used the medicated mouthwash every time! For a week, you can barely brush your teeth, and honestly I think not being able to brush was harder for me..ㅎ I kept feeling roughness on my teeth with my tongue, so I really wanted to brush, but because I had cheekbone surgery, I couldn’t open wide, so I endured it,,

<Third day after surgery> Before that, I thought, “I’m less swollen than expected?” but after day 3, I started swelling a lot! I could feel my face swelling so much, so I did cold compresses frequently and kept wearing the compression band They said walking is good for reducing swelling, so I carefully went for walks and focused hard on reducing swelling! After surgery, you have to sleep sitting up, so I even bought a floor chair and diligently slept sitting upㅠ I think I slept lightly, almost repeatedly waking and sleeping

<Fourth day after surgery> There was still swelling, but the hunger was so intense that I blended porridge and ate a little at a time! I didn’t know not being able to chew would be this hardㅠ I also drank soy milk frequently, but the hunger was so hard! And after general anesthesia, my airway was irritated, so I had no voice for a weekㅠ But it comes back with time, so you don’t have to worry about this part! I was worried at first too, but thankfully it all came back!

After that, I cut ramen into small pieces and ate it, and started slowly with steamed egg and castella soaked in milk!

About a week later, I removed the stitches in the cheekbone area and also had the inside of my mouth disinfected! I didn’t even feel the cheekbone stitches. They said I still had a lot of swelling and needed to walk often! Then after another week passed, I removed the stitches inside my mouth~! The intraoral stitches do sting, but it’s manageable!

I’m an office worker, so I used about one week of annual leave for the surgery! If you really hope others won’t notice much, I think you need more than 2 weeks! My face was swollen, so everyone recognized it hehe Because my job requires me to talk a lot, I naturally kept doing mouth exercises, and I think my mouth movement became natural faster than expected!

After week 2 passed, I was surprised because I started having a tingling sensation in the tip of my chin! They said it’s a natural phenomenon because the nerves are coming back. It was more numb and tingly than I expected, so it was hard, but now at the one-month point it has all disappeared, so I’m very relieved hehe. If you have tingling symptoms like me, they get better with time, so you don’t have to worry too much..

Now at the one-month point, I can definitely feel that my cheekbones have reduced, so I’m happy because I’ve gained much more confidence than before.. The reason I decided on this surgery was also because I had a severe complex about my face shape since I was young, so I always wore my hair down, and when the wind blew, it stressed me out a lot.. So I thought, I hope the day comes when I can fully accept this wind as something nice! Now I walk, facing the wind more confidently than anyone It’s still only one month, so there is swelling, but I’m also excited to see what it will be like when it all goes down.. For those who want facial contouring surgery like me, I highly recommend it! It changes your life

It’s a long post, but thank you for reading☺
