before<before revision surgery>before<before revision surgery>after<after revision surgery>after<after revision surgery>For reference, this is not my second surgery this time.. it’s actually my third revision surgery! This is how I’ve had my eye surgeries so far
First: 5 years ago, had eye surgery with buried sutures Second: 2 years ago, had natural adhesion + canthoplasty together -> But I wasn’t happy with it.. Even though I had double eyelids, they were still uneven, and because the canthoplasty had no effect, my inner eye spacing still looked wide, so I always did makeup to make the inner corners look wider I had been stressed about my eyes for such a long time that I started thinking that if it was going to be like this, I should just get revision surgery at a proper clinic
Third revision surgery (current): natural adhesion + inner corner canthoplasty Since this was my third revision surgery, I was worried because I’d been told most places wouldn’t do a non-incisional procedure, but here, after the doctor checked my eyes, he asked why non-incisional wouldn’t be possible and said it depends on each person He actually said natural adhesion was possible, so I ended up getting revision surgery with natural adhesion! My preferred look is more glamorous rather than natural, so I raised the line higher than the existing one for the revision surgery, and since I also said I didn’t like my eyes looking too far apart, I got inner corner canthoplasty again too The doctor said I didn’t need revision surgery on the other areas, though~ he didn’t recommend anything unnecessary
The last photo is exactly one month after surgery People around me say this amount of swelling is relatively little, but since this is my third revision surgery.. I’m just hoping it settles soon ㅠ Still, out of all the double-eyelid surgeries I’ve had, this one seems to be healing the fastest, so I’m relieved.. I’m trying not to pay too much attention and just waiting while following everything the clinic told me not to do.. For those of you who, like me, have had revision surgery many times, when did things finally stabilize? With my case, can I just relax and wait for now?
