I underwent treatment for about two and a half years at ㅁㄹ Dental Clinic in Daegu.
Based on prices from 5 or 6 years ago, it was 5 million won, and I think I paid additional fees for treatment at each monthly visit, and in certain months, material costs? costs for placing screws, X-rays and other imaging fees, etc.
It has now been 3 years since the appliances were removed. I’m still making efforts such as regular checkups and wearing retainers, and so far I feel my gum health is also good.
What I liked about receiving orthodontic treatment was that they tried to proceed with orthodontics without extractions as much as possible, which I appreciated. Since the entire building was a comprehensive dental hospital, not only orthodontics but also, midway through, when I needed cavity treatment with a ceramic crown, they adjusted the orthodontic appliance and were able to provide coordinated treatment.
What was disappointing was that because the hospital is quite large, the waiting time and close consultation with the director felt a bit lacking. Of course, they answered my questions and gave advice well, but because there were many waiting patients, I felt they seemed mentally busy.
Still, after time has passed, I think my satisfaction is quite high, and although the orthodontic process was painful, I think it was a good choice, so I’m posting this.
