Before<Day 1: Since I couldn’t eat even one meal, they prepared everything for me, including pumpkin juice, an instruction sheet, mouthwash, a tool to help me open my mouth, a tongue depressor, hot/cold packs, a facial compression band, prescriptions, and so on. They explained everything one last time, disinfected the area, removed the bandage, and I was discharged><Day 2: My face was a bit more swollen than on Day 1. For meals, I can usually only have drinkable things, and I have to keep using ice packs diligentlyㅜㅜ I think people like me who swell easily swell even more severely>Before<Day 3: I can open my mouth about enough to fit one finger, and I can still only eat things like pumpkin juice, pumpkin porridge, and soft tofu.. I went to the hospital, had the taping removed, got a shampoo, received swelling laser treatment, had disinfection done, got a swelling injection, and went home. The swelling was so severe that I bought and took three types of medicine to reduce swelling. Ugh, the medicine costㅠㅠ>Before<Before surgery~>Facial contouring + liposuction of cheeks and double chin + buried-incision eye-shape correction
I had orthodontic treatment, but my face shape was asymmetrical, and my eyes, nose, and mouth were centered, but I hated the wide cheek area and hated having to edit my face smaller after taking photos, so I decided to undergo facial contouring.
Before surgery: I had eye surgery first, then the contouring. After anesthesia, the surgery was over before I knew it. From then on, everything was hectic. I couldn’t sleep for 6 hours and had to wake up from anesthesia, so I had to take deep breaths in and out. The nurse unnies and coordinator unnies came to check on me from time to time, and the director also came to check my progress. It was very reassuring to be able to see all the hospital staff.. What I wanted most was water, but I realized that drinking water didn’t really have much effect. (Painkillers are essential! That means Tylenol or painkillers. They do give you painkiller injections, but I don’t think the effect is that strong. It hurts a lot at night, so they’re essential!)
Walking well, using ice packs well, and gargling well are essential. After going to the hospital and walking a bit, the facial pain settled down somewhat. I hope time passes quickly.
