When I first went, they took a CT scan and I talked with the consultant. She told me about the nose shape I wanted and the nose shape that would suit my face, explained the surgical process, and while looking at my CT, told me which areas were needed. Then the director came in. The director touched my nose, looked at its shape, and said my nasal cartilage was quite weak, and that to get the nose shape I wanted, I would need autologous costal cartilage. I had a consultation for about 1 hour, and I’ll probably have surgery here.
