I just had the splint removed.. They said it seems very swollen because, due to drooping of the nasal tip, they made a support strut with ear cartilage for the nasal tip and did a lot of work on it. But no matter how I look at it, when I look up reviews from the day people had their splints removed, there’s no one whose nose is as blunt as mine, so I’m worried it’s ruined.. I had it done at a famous hospital.. I had 2.5 mm silicone placed on the nasal bridge, a support strut made with ear cartilage, and my nasal tip raised.
I clearly said that I absolutely did not want the nasal tip to look upturned because I really hate that, but it’s so upturned that I’m devastated.... Everyone says the nasal tip comes down as the swelling goes down, but mine is so upturned that even if it comes down, I think it’ll still be on the upturned side, so I can’t sleep at night..
When I cover my eyes, nose, and mouth, it seems like the bulbous nose doesn’t show as much, but it’s really such a big, bulky nose, and yet my nostrils are fully visible, like they put only that pig-nose thing on my nose, so I can’t look in the mirror ㅠㅠ
