Before Before After After AfterI had a complex about my hump nose since my mid-to-late 20s. When people saw me in person, acquaintances said it wasn’t large, and I thought so too, but whenever I took photos, the hump stood out, and I naturally avoided profile photos. After thinking about it for about two years, I decided this year to improve it before it got any later, and after visiting several places, I decided to have surgery with the director at a plastic surgery clinic.
I’m at one month after surgery, and improving the hump and nasal tip was the top priority. I did not want it to look artificial and did not want my impression to change, so I had implant-free rhinoplasty using septal cartilage and ear cartilage, along with alar reduction. Since I’m only one month out, they say the frontal view and minor swelling are still at their peak, but now the improvement in my side line is definite, so I think the first goal of the surgery has been achieved! People around me also say that, even considering I’m only one month out, it looks natural and the side line has improved a lot, so I feel relieved.
It’s still early, so I do feel some of the difficulties that everyone who has surgery experiences, such as nasal congestion and minor swelling because my skin is especially thick, but I feel that after some time passes, around 3 or 6 months, it will look even more natural!
For those worried about a hump nose, this was the place where I was most satisfied during consultation and where they understood my needs well, so I decided to have surgery there. I think it would be good to have a consultation at that clinic.
