I used donated costal cartilage at DA, and it has been 2 months since my revision rhinoplasty. I’m sleeping well and going through recovery steadily thanks to a comfortable daily life. Other people probably can’t really tell? But there’s still a little residual swelling that only I notice. I didn’t want anything extremely flashy, but I wanted something between natural and glamorous, and I think it came out just right. There is still residual swelling at the nasal tip and nostrils, so I’m going to keep watching that and go to the hospital when I have my follow-up. For 7 years, I kept thinking about whether to have revision surgery, whether not to, whether I’d be satisfied after doing it, and so on.. It feels like I’m being compensated for all the emotional stress I went through the whole time.
