I had a consultation with Dr. Kim Deok-jung. The main issue was cartilage show-through, so I went because I wanted revision surgery, but I guess costal cartilage is the trend these days.. He explained that they would build the columellar support based on costal cartilage and shape it with ear cartilage. When I asked whether they don’t use other cartilage, he narrowed the options in advance to donated costal cartilage or autologous costal cartilage and explained it that way. Even with ear cartilage, it shows through because my skin type is thin.. If they use strong cartilage like costal cartilage.. isn’t the outcome obvious? Anyway, he explained the materials according to the current trend, and although the name is Naturalism, by my standards the design is not natural.
