I did online research and visited clinics in person for nose surgery, narrowed it down, and went to four places haha. But even though I’d had eye surgery before, I did it at a place an acquaintance went to, so this was my first time ever really going around for consultations, and there were so many things I was clumsy about... When everyone goes around for consultations, I really recommend leaving at least 90-minute gaps as a basic rule!! Mine were 60-minute gaps, so I moved around by taxi. The places I went to were ㅎㅌ ㅋㅇㅍㄹㅅ ㅇㄹㅂ ㄴㅇㄷ ...It was a bit tight, so I was 10 minutes late to ㅇㄹㅂ and ㄴㅇㄷ, but they all treated me well, and I was grateful, ha ㅠㅠ The questions I commonly asked while going around were: 1. The A/S period for nose surgery! Except for ㅇㄹㅂ, they were all 1 year. ㅇㄹㅂ said it was 3 years. 2. I asked whether CCTV footage could be provided. There were places where you could watch in real time, places with an extra fee, and places where it was not possible. In common, they said they do not provide it, and it could be opened with police present. Most of them were like that, but ㅇㄹㅂ did say they would put it on a USB if I paid an additional 300,000 won. 3. I asked them to show me before-and-after photos of people with noses similar to mine! My nose is somewhat bulbous, so since alar reduction really can’t be reversed, I asked whether it could be improved with other methods. I really!! like a natural look, so I emphasized naturalness haha. I also brought photos! But they weren’t idol photos; I just searched “pretty nose” on Pinterest and saved ones I liked haha. And more than anything, I think it’s important for the director and me to align on the direction I want. But when you’re consulting, you really get a feeling, like, ah, I should do it at this hospital or that hospital!! I’m a minor, so I brought my mom and had the consultations. I think bringing a third person is good too. Since I definitely want to do it no matter what, I get swept away by what the director or manager says, going “oh, really?” But my mom is a bit against nose surgery, yet she allowed it because I want it so badly haha... So she would pinpoint things like, “Really? Do you need to do even this?” and evaluate each hospital somewhat objectively? for me... Lastly, when going around for consultations, I’m going to organize what they commonly said: that this is the problem with my nose and this can be improved through this surgery. Then I’ll tell my opinion clearly to the hospital I finally decide on... I searched for the hospitals where I would get consultations on a plastic surgery app, took screenshots of postoperative photos, and showed them, saying this was done at this hospital and I like this kind of shape too. I also showed noses I found separately!! The photo is what I scribbled before the consultations as things I must ask! haha Everyone, use it as reference and try getting consultations. Since this is my first time going around, it may not be exact...
