<Natural nose left><Left after complete removal><Natural nose right><Right after complete removal>-4 mm silicone on nasal bridge, bulbous nose correction, nasal tip cartilage suturing, septal extension, nasal tip with ear cartilage, slight osteotomy of dorsal hump -Removed the silicone and the columellar septal extension. Left the nasal tip cartilage in place
Photos of my nose after surgery are in my previous post First of all, I liked the nose shape after surgery, but when I heard that the nasal septum would stay hard even after the swelling went down, I thought I couldn’t live like this and chose early removal after rhinoplasty. Right now, I’m on day 7 after early removal. As my nasal bridge got higher, my image changed a lot from what I had before, so it felt unfamiliar. My midface is on the longer side, and since the silicone sat high all the way up to the glabella, if you only looked at the nose shape it was a well-done nose, but with silicone up to the glabella on my face, it made me look even longer, and they had made the columella rounded too, so my face looked longer overall..
Currently my nasal tip is still hard, and my nasal bridge has no swelling at all For the nasal tip, since I had early removal not long after the surgery, I think the swelling + swelling may go down a bit later lol.. And there is ear cartilage in the nasal tip, and the director said there was no particular need to remove it, so it has been left in place. My natural nose had a slightly drooping? nasal tip, so they said they would move the ear cartilage in the nasal tip slightly upward. During the first surgery, they said they had performed an osteotomy on the area with a slight dorsal hump, so I was really worried the shape would look strange after removal, but actually, since a slight curve formed from the straight nose, I like it because the nose shape seems more feminine. In reality, there is a slight curve, but it’s not extremely noticeable, and if anything, the slight curve seems to make it look natural But the nasal tip seems slightly upturned, so I’m scared right now, and I’m praying it doesn’t turn up any more from here ㅠㅠ I’m currently satisfied with the nose shape. Oh, and I had the first surgery on March 3. Since it was extended with the septum, I still have nasal obstruction, maybe because the mucous membrane inside my right nostril is still very swollenㅠ This is really uncomfortable...
Today is the day I go to have the stitches removed, and I think it’ll be okay once the nasal tip swelling goes down and it becomes soft... I regretted getting rhinoplasty more than a hundred times, wondering why I did it and thinking I would have been better off not doing it.. It’s a relief the current result isn’t bad; if I had still been stressed after removal, I think I really would have become depressed.. If any problems come up later or the swelling goes down, I’ll post again~~!
