4-month review after revision rhinoplasty
I had surgery around the end of November, so about 4 months have passed ~~ It was originally supposed to be a 3-month follow-up, but I didn’t have time, so I went for my 4-month follow-up yesterday. The consultant took photos, and I checked with the director to see if there were any post-op problems and heard the precautions. They also looked inside my nose, and since they said it looked okay because there have been no problems so far, I felt relieved..ㅠㅠ Honestly, I was worried because it was revision surgery, and I did it hoping there would be no more revisions, but so far I’ve had no problems or discomfort, and I really love that my nasal tip is soft ㅠ Before getting it done at ㅁㅌ, my nasal tip was extremely hard, so I felt anxious every single day .. It was so uncomfortable because of the foreign-body sensation .. I was truly worried every day .. In the end, after removing the Medpor because of inflammation and having surgery with ear cartilage, I feel emotionally at ease, and I love that there’s no foreign-body sensation ~!
First surgery (a hospital famous for pretty noses--;;;)-dorsal silicone 5.5 mm, shaved down?, nasal tip septal cartilage + Medpor - They didn’t even tell me they used Medpor, so I found out while going to consultations for revision surgery. The nasal tip showed through, I developed inflammation, and the foreign-body sensation was severe.
Second surgery (done at ㅁㅌ)- dorsal silicone 4 mm, after removing the Medpor from the nasal tip, they washed out the inflammation and used only ear cartilage
But people I know don’t realize I had revision rhinoplasty. I’m satisfied because I think it turned out more natural and prettier than the nose I had with Medpor.
I hope it stays just like this from now on ~ !!! hehe
