- I had surgery 7 years ago with silicone + septal cartilage + ear cartilage. I don't have any complaints about the height, but I was bothered by the bridge of my nose being slightly, subtly crooked and the shape of my nostrils being different, which made my whole face look asymmetrical. Also, since the surgery, my airway has felt a bit blocked, so I had a consultation at Yonsei With for rhinitis surgery and cosmetic rhinoplasty, and I heard explanations I really hadn't expected at all...
Option 1 - Correct only the nostrils : They said that my current condition doesn't look like it absolutely requires revision surgery, but since I have a need for nostril correction, there is this kind of surgical method.) Option 2 - Silicone removal + autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip : My nose looks more unnatural from the side than from the front, and after checking that, they recommended that I remove the silicone instead and build up the nasal tip with autologous costal cartilage.
If I followed my heart, I would just want to remove the silicone and maintain the nasal tip with cartilage, but I wanted to use ear cartilage instead of autologous costal cartilage ㅠㅠ Autologous costal cartilage was an option I hadn't even thought of, so I'm really confused.
Has anyone here removed silicone and raised the nasal tip with autologous costal cartilage? ㅠ0ㅠ
