1-week review of breast fat grafting

Since I wanted a natural look, I started looking into breast fat grafting rather than implants. I had consultations at several places, and the doctors elsewhere were very unfriendly. In contrast, Director Kim Jae-in at Glovi was really kind and explained everything in detail for a long time, so I decided to have surgery there.

I was worried it might feel a bit embarrassing to have to take off all my clothes and lie down in an operating room with many people, but they had me lie face down and covered me with a blanket, so I felt at ease. I lay face down, closed my eyes briefly, and when I opened them, the surgery was over. Only my thighs hurt a little, and I had no breast pain at all.

Until day 3 after surgery, moving my legs was really difficult, and it hurt the most especially when sitting down and standing up. But exactly from the third day, my condition noticeably improved. So I tried to reduce swelling with light activity like walking or going for strolls. I had to avoid lying on my side for a month, but luckily I already tend to sleep facing upward.

I still can’t wear a bra that gathers or compresses the breasts, so I’m only wearing a camisole with built-in cups, but the volume is clearly visible from the outside, and my confidence when wearing clothes has really changed. I worried a lot about scars, but looking at them now, I don’t think I needed to worry at all. I especially like that the armpit area really doesn’t show.

The bruising on my thighs has also faded a lot now, and there’s no major inconvenience in daily life. However, it feels like the front thigh muscles have shortened, so when I fully extend my hip joint and stand up, there’s a slight pulling sensation. Still, I think this will also recover naturally with time.

The manager and reception staff were also extremely kind, and for aftercare, they provided treatment to help reduce the thigh bruising. After the procedure, I definitely felt the bruises lighten. The most surprising part was that I didn’t need to apply ointment to the scars or do any separate care, and since they’ve been healing well so far, I feel relieved.

Lastly, what I’d like to recommend is that on the day of surgery, it may be better to wear triangle panties rather than drawstring-style underwear/boxer briefs. I also went wearing boxer briefs, but right after surgery, because of swelling and pain, it was difficult to take off the compression garment by myself, so the marks from the boxer briefs remained on my thighs. Fortunately, they’re gradually flattening now, but I think it would be good to be mindful in advance so marks like this don’t form.
