After nose surgery, my columella looks bent along the open-surgery scar line. I’m at 4-5 months.
My old nose wasn’t like this. Is this a side effect? Has anyone had this happen? When I asked the hospital, they responded as if everyone is like that... and only said it would improve. I’ve had surgery twice so far, but this is the first time the scar tissue has been this severe and the stitched area has been this noticeable, so I’m flustered.
I wonder if it’s because they tied it too tightly during surgery... When I take photos from the side, the columella looks very bent, and it makes the surgery look obvious, so it hurts emotionally.. ㅜ
When I touch it, it’s hard, and the indented area doesn’t seem like it will naturally fill in on its own, so I don’t understand how they’re saying it will become natural... When I had surgery before, from the beginning it was taut? without any height difference from the surrounding tissue, and only the incision mark was faintly pink...
It’s a place that doesn’t provide separate aftercare like scar treatment, so I’m worried, and I don’t have anywhere else to ask, so I’m asking here...
