I had revision incisional surgery with Dr. Yeom Won-seok at ㄱㅇ before the hospital opened its branch.
I originally had non-incisional buried-suture surgery at another hospital, but after about three years it came undone and my impression changed to look fierce, so after worrying about it, I decided on ㄱㅇ.
The consultation mostly consisted of the doctor explaining the eye shape he had in mind and the direction of the surgery. I knew before going that he had firm opinions, so I wasn’t flustered. If anything, I trusted him more. He really emphasized natural-looking double eyelids.
I didn’t have any particular style I wanted and just wanted to improve my impression, so I left it entirely to him. Even though it was incisional surgery, I was surprised that I had literally no bruising, only swelling. The swelling did last a while, but it was amazing that there was no bruising with incisional surgery. It’s been about 4 years, and my friends say it really doesn’t show, and that they sometimes forget I had double-eyelid surgery lol. The incision line is barely visible, and he really made it look natural and suited to my eyes!! He does it really, really naturally and beautifully. Highly recommend!!
