Before before before after after after after after after Ever since I was young, I didn’t like the shape of my nose, so I kept thinking about nostril reduction. When I finally had some free time, I decided to have surgery! I had consultations at 3 places famous for nostril reduction, and then had my last consultation at this clinic. They examined me the most carefully and pinpointed exactly the nose shape I wanted, so I really trusted them. I had seen in many other reviews that the price was higher than other places, so I had roughly expected that, and I think I decided with the thought that since it was expensive, they would make it look that pretty and do a good job!
For my nose, they said my nostrils were not wide compared with my face, but my nasal alae were drooping, so my nostrils were very visible and that may have made me feel like my nostrils were wide. So they said I needed alar lifting more than nostril reduction. They said other hospitals proceed with surgery that only reduces the nostril width, so the nose I wanted might not come out, which helped me even more in deciding on the hospital.
For the surgery, only the anesthetic injections hurt a little, and after that it didn’t hurt at all! Right after surgery, I looked in the mirror, and the nose shape had clearly changed, but except for the stitches under my nose, it really didn’t look like I had surgery at all. At first, my nostrils had been reduced much more than I expected, and I could see a bit of asymmetry, so I wondered, “Does it look unnatural?” But now that a month has passed, I don’t see the asymmetry, and the shape has become very natural, so I’m so, so satisfied…
The part I was worried about was scarring, but if I wear makeup, it doesn’t show at all, and even bare-faced, unless someone comes close and looks carefully, it really is barely visible! Until weeks 2-3, the area around my nose felt tight and like it wouldn’t move, so smiling or making facial expressions felt awkward, but now that has improved too, so I can make expressions comfortably, and it has become even more natural. Also, I didn’t tell people around me that I had surgery, but truly no one noticed, and they only say I’ve gotten prettier, so it’s really amazing haha I used to always take photos with an app, and when taking them with the basic camera, I would start by reducing my nostrils, but now I like how I look even with the basic camera, so I’m really happy.
