I had revision rhinoplasty yesterday!!
I had it done with autologous costal cartilage, and the area where they harvested the costal cartilage did not hurt as much as I expected on the day of surgery, so I walked around a lot;; But the pain really starts from the next day lol If I move the wrong way, it hurts so much I can barely breathe lol
First, to talk about the day of surgery,
I went in for a consultation with the director first. He told me about precautions, side effects, etc., and I told him once more about the shape I wanted and again about what I did not like.
He said a downside of autologous costal cartilage is that warping can occur,
and that after six months, they would check the progress, and if warping happened, they would even do revision surgery.
Well, he is so skilled that I probably will not have side effects,
but it felt good because I could tell he cared about patients this much.
There is also a screen showing that CCTV is being recorded in the operating room lol
I went in for surgery at 9:30, and I think I spent almost an hour preparing and waiting.
But honestly, getting prepared was so scary. They sprayed disinfectant and did this and that, and I kept thinking to myself whether I should just run away because I was so scared lolololol I thought a million times to myself that it would be really nice if they put me under anesthesia and then prepared me;;
Anyway, the surgery ended well, and I went to the hospital today, got swelling laser treatment, disinfection, and so on.
The staff here are not the super feminine, warm-and-friendly type.
But I think they definitely do what they are responsible for.
I have to go again next Monday to get the cotton removed, but when will that day come~~
