Review of Ruby Laser for Spots and a Question About Aftercare

I actually had something I was curious about, so I’m writing this..ㅎㅎ I’m not sure if this will be helpful, but I’ll also add my laser review.

I had Ruby laser treatment in Gangnam because I had a lot of spots. As the years went by, the spots got darker and spread, and after a consultation I was told there were freckles, redness, and moles everywhere ㅠㅠ Quite a lot of moles too.. The number of treatment sessions depends on the depth and severity. In my case, there was a fairly wide area and I was told the roots were deep (maybe because I left it untreated for so longㅠㅠ) so I still need three or four more sessions.

Even though they applied numbing cream before the procedure, it hurt quite a bit. It feels like being seared with a hot soldering iron. I had seen an acquaintance who had been treated at the same clinic before, so I trusted them, but after just the first session, I didn’t get the feeling of “Wow, it’s different. It got better.” Since this is natural, I think patience is needed. During recovery, it itched for over a week and there was a slight feeling of heat. After a week, I was also able to wash the treated area.

After 1-2 weeks, I’ve been applying sunscreen, regeneration ointment, and so on, and sun protection seems to be the real key, but maintaining it is so hard ㅠㅠ Because I have to go out for work every day, even when I apply sunscreen I still don’t feel reassured. If anyone has tips for aftercare after laser treatment, I’d really appreciate your advice. I had the procedure because of spots, but if hyperpigmentation happens, it would all be pointless..
