It's already been a little over a month since my revision rhinoplasty. Before the revision, I went to consultations at several hospitals and had a lot of worries before deciding, but thinking about it now, I also feel like I should have decided sooner.
The reason I had the revision was that before surgery, I didn't like my blunt nasal tip, the way it looked crooked, and the way my nostrils looked droopy. My nose wasn't completely strange, but those were parts that kept bothering me. And I had severe nasal obstruction too, so it felt stuffy. When choosing a hospital, I looked for a place that would not overcorrect and where functional issues could be operated on together, and the hospital that met my criteria in various ways was Cocoline. It was more expensive than other places though ㅠㅠ..
Before, because my nasal bridge was too high, my impression looked too strong, but now I'm satisfied because the line seems more feminine. Breathing has become more comfortable than before too, and although there is still swelling at the nasal tip, so it feels a bit awkward from the side, thinking that the swelling will go down makes me look forward to the nose shape later.
Actually, during the consultation, I wanted to keep the same height as my previous surgery, but the director said the starting point was high, making the nose look long and the impression look strong, so he suggested lowering it a little. In many ways, I think I did well listening to the director, and I also feel proud of myself for choosing the hospital well!
At the hospital, I compared the before-surgery and after-surgery photos, and it made me think again that I did the right thing. I'm satisfied with the revision, so if people around me are thinking about rhinoplasty, whether it's their first surgery or a revision, I've been recommending it.
