I went to a consultation a few days ago, and it was the same as the consultation reviews other people wrote. I also heard about using dermis. I understand why it is used, but other hospitals do not use dermis, so I will pass on this place. The problem is the hospital I am going to tomorrow (this is where I want to have the surgery). I am currently in a state of anxiety about the future + thin skin so the cartilage sometimes shows through + it occasionally turns red and then settles down (no inflammation). I just do not want to live while being anxious anymore, so I want full removal. But after looking through the consultation reviews for the hospital I am going to tomorrow, many people say to leave the support in. Of course, there were also people who had everything removed without leaving the support. Since my original nose is a drooping arrow nose, I think if the cartilage is removed the flesh will cave in badly, so it feels like they will say to leave the support behind.... But if I leave the support, I think I will worry again, so I want to remove everything. If it were just the shape of a normal nose, I feel like I could live with it.. For those who had complete removal without leaving the support behind, does the nose really cave in like a deflated balloon...? Or is it more like a nose shape that is at least acceptable to look at..?
