I had surgery about 2 years and 6 months ago with silicone and autologous costal cartilage, and now I am going around to hospitals to remove the silicone.. Today at the hospital where I had a consultation, they said to remove the silicone and insert Megaderm. They said side effects are almost nonexistent and it does not absorb much either (I went to a hospital famous for removals!!) But after looking around here, there are a lot of posts against Megaderm, so T_T I also want to put as little as possible into my nose from now on.. If I only remove the silicone, I guess I have to accept the step, right? I am going to another hospital tomorrow, but if anyone has a similar experience, please let me know T_T Also, for reference, today the hospital said that if the silicone is removed, the bridge would become about 3.5 to 4 mm lower. But at another hospital last time, they said the existing bridge was not that low, so even if there were a step, it would not be severe. The stories are all different, so I am confused T_TT_T

I went to a consultation a few days ago, and it was the same as the consultation reviews other people wrote. I also heard about using dermis. I understand why it is used, but other hospitals do not use dermis, so I will pass on this place.
