I had ptosis in a monolid eye, got double eyelid surgery in my hometown, and then just lived with it, but the ptosis still wouldn't improve, so I went to consult at several other hospitals. This is one of the places that left the strongest impression. After the eye surgery, they showed me directly in the mirror how the shape would turn out by drawing the line on my eye while explaining it. They looked at my eye shape, eye line, and the overall shape, and said surgery would be possible to this extent, but if they did too much surgery, the shape could end up odd instead.
