Before <before surgery> Before <day of surgery> After <day 7> After <day 14> I had double-eyelid surgery with incisional ptosis correction 8 years ago, and I didn’t like it, so I had it done once more, which led me to the eyes I had before this surgery. Even though my eyes had already been operated on twice, I still didn’t like them, and eventually my eyes started to look overwhelming to me. Whenever I looked only at my eyes in the mirror, I kept seeing only their flaws, so for a while after surgery I don’t think I looked in the mirror much. Of course, there are people more severe than me, and some people said, “Isn’t this level okay?” But it wasn’t much comfort. In the end, I decided on a third surgery, really went to a lot of consultations, and I think I went around to clinics with the thought that this would truly be the last time. Then I found this clinic, and at first I went for a consultation without much expectation, but I think the consultation with the director gave me the certainty that I should do it at this clinic. I told the director the eyes I wanted, and he said he would proceed with an outline shape as close as possible to what I wanted. Instead, he suggested lowering the line just slightly, proceeding once again with an incision, doing a little fat grafting above the eyes, and reducing the Mongolian fold area with medial epicanthoplasty, so I said okay and trusted the director with the surgery.. It was a kind of trust? that I couldn’t feel at the clinics I had been to before. Because I had a conviction that somehow it would go well, I proceeded without much dissatisfaction. People say that on the day of surgery it can look strange because of swelling, but I honestly really liked it so much haha I think I’ll like it even more as the swelling continues to go down. I really, really want to say thank you to the director who operated on me like this!
