My eyes are sunken + the skin is thick + I need fat removal, and I went around for consultations with the goal of improving multiple double eyelid folds + improving asymmetry. The eyes I wanted were, if possible, a pretty in-out fold.. Even if that wasn’t possible, I wanted it to imitate an in-out fold as much as possible. Just an inline fold was X. For the 4 hospitals I visited, I chose places known for doing natural-looking results well.
1. ㄴㅅㅎ-ㄱㄷㅎ I was looking at reviews on a review app, and among Director ㄱㄷㅎ’s surgery reviews, there was a photo where he had beautifully improved multiple double eyelid folds that looked exactly like mine, so I went after seeing that. The wait was about 20 minutes, consultation order was consultant > director > consultant. The first consultant consultation was simple; they just asked what line I wanted and what I wanted to improve, then I went straight to the director consultation. As I’d heard, he was good at blunt reality checks.. He said my eyes have clear limitations, and if the line is made even a little large, they’ll become sausage eyes, so I should let go of my greed and do it hahaㅜ He said ptosis correction might be okay too. The line he made for me was truly NewJeans Minji’s inline fold.. But throughout the consultation, the director’s eyes looked so lifeless, kind of unfocused, and uninterested in the patient, so.. I didn’t feel like I wanted to have surgery here. ㅡ Buried suture, swelling laser, 3-year AS, same-day reservation price 550,000 KRW, basic price 980,000 KRW (ptosis correction optional). Surgery time 40 minutes. A place where the price is a huge advantage. No consultation fee.
2. ㅈㄷ-single-doctor clinic I heard people in this community were all talking lately because some YouTuber got her eyes done really pretty here, so I was curious and went.. I went a bit early and waited, and in the hospital lobby there were truly elderly grandpas and grandmas, guests in their 50s, 20s, and 30s all waiting, which was so interesting and gave me a very good impression. When my appointment time came, I went right in for director consultation > consultant. The director consultation was really maybe about 3 minutes.. Anyway it ended super fast. I said what I wanted, he held the line twice, and said, “If we do a partial incision and remove some fat, I think it’ll turn out well? Your eyes will show a good effect. For the multiple double eyelid folds, if we just fix the line, they’ll fade on their own,” and then it just ended. The director’s impression was good, but he held the line way too roughly, so hmm... Anyway, the consultant consultation continued, and here they seemed very proud of having no scars; they kept emphasizing “no scars” and “it won’t show.” Also, they seemed to have a lot of pride in the director. I asked whether they do swelling laser, and they said doing something like that doesn’t make swelling that would last a month get better in a week, and in the end time is the medicine. Meaning they don’t do it. ㅡ Partial incision + fat removal, 1-year AS, seems like there’s no separate aftercare. 2.2 million KRW (acquaintance discount 220,000 KRW). Surgery time 20 minutes, really short. Consultation fee 30,000 KRW (no consultation fee with same-day reservation).
3. ㅈㅇㅌ-ㅇㅎㅎ I’d watched their YouTube a few times, so I went. Since the director is also a woman, I expected she would understand the beauty style I’m aiming for well. Wait was about 10 minutes, consultant > director > consultant order. I liked that the director gave the consultation very professionally and realistically.. She gave hard-hitting blunt facts. She seemed to look at my eyes structurally and value overall harmony such as natural beauty. As at ㄴㅅㅎ, she said my eyes can’t have a high line and that I need to let go of greed…ㅎ She said if I want to completely get rid of the multiple double eyelid folds, I need an incision. But she said even just fixing with sutures could make them fainter than now. She said because my upper eyelid skin is thick, she’s a bit worried my eyes may loosen easily even with the buried method.. The line she held was one that didn’t deviate much from my current eyes.. She said I don’t need any canthoplasty or ptosis correction. I liked that she even drew pictures while explaining.. ㅡ Natural adhesion + fat removal, 1-year AS. I forgot and couldn’t ask what management they provideㅜ 1.32 million KRW. Surgery time 1 hour. Consultation fee 10,000 KRW (no consultation fee with same-day reservation).
4. ㅋㄹ-single-doctor clinic I heard the director at this hospital is warm like a pediatrician, so I went because I wanted some emotional comfort.. This hospital felt very much like a neighborhood clinic, so it was unique.. I was waiting alone in the lobby, so it felt a little awkwardㅎ Consultant > director > consultant order, no wait for consultation. Just like in the reviews, the director was very, very kind, which I liked… He called me “Miss ~” and treated me warmly. The consultation content was good too. Here too, he said if I have double eyelid surgery and fix a new line, the existing multiple double eyelid folds will fade somewhat, so multiple folds are not a big problem. He said I don’t need any canthoplasty or ptosis correction. Here too, he told me my upper eyelid skin is thickㅜㅜ Still, since I’m getting surgery anyway, he said if we remove some fat, it would be okay to make the line a little bigger, and that it would be fine. But he said I should know that a smaller line suits me….. The director treated me like an elementary-school baby, so it was truly a touching experience.. ㅡ Buried suture + fat removal, 1-year AS, 1.5 million KRW. Surgery time 40 minutes. So I went around to all 4 natural-look hospitals, and I realized the painful truth that my eyes simply cannot undergo a dramatic transformation.. I placed deposits at two hospitals I liked, but I need to think more about where to do it.. There’s nothing much here, but if there’s anyone who wants to hear a blunt consultation, I hope this post can be a reference…
