Before/AfterWhen I got my first surgery, there wasn’t really a clearly established design for men’s noses, so I had surgery with the nose shape that was really popular at the time (semi-slope). But not only did it not suit my image, my nose originally had a bit of a hump, so the bumpy and blunt-looking shape didn’t look corrected at all.. People around me said it didn’t look like I’d had nose surgery at all.. lol Since nothing changed, I felt like I had just wasted money, and I regretted having surgery without properly researching it.
But as people say, “for men, the nose matters,” and my overall facial balance didn’t feel right, so I was stressed every day. I figured if it was going to be like this, I might as well get revision surgery and fix it properly, so this time I really looked for a clinic carefully. And another thing I realized around this time was that instead of a place that churns out the same factory-made nose for everyone, the most important thing is to find a place that makes a nose that suits each person’s face.

These are the nasal materials I used, and since I had used L-shaped silicone, I also had the silicone replaced this time. They said my hump wasn’t severe, so osteotomy wasn’t necessary, and the director confidently said every step of the way that the bluntness could be addressed with bulbous nose correction. And the most important thing was that the director also said the design didn’t suit me.. lol So they changed it from a semi-slope to a nose between straight-slope and straight.
Before, my nose didn’t even look like it had been operated on and I didn’t like it, but now I’m very satisfied even from the side, and the nasal dorsum has become smooth, so I think getting revision surgery was the right choice. (More than anything, I had anxiety about the L-shaped silicone, so I’m glad it was replaced this time too..) I didn’t understand what people meant when they said you need to find a clinic with an aesthetic sense that matches yours, but after getting revision surgery myself, I finally understand it.
