I had double eyelid surgery with the buried suture method 4 years ago, but suddenly, after I woke up, one side had come undone.
I hadn’t rubbed it particularly hard or anything, so I was flustered that it suddenly came undone. But doing it with an incisional method is scary... If an eye that came undone once with the buried method is done again with the buried method, it’ll come undone again, right?
I thought once you got double eyelids, that would be it. When I first had the surgery, they said it wouldn’t come undone and that the chance of it coming undone was less than 10%...
