I had posterior-posterior/anterior-anterior nostril reduction & lifting, and it’s been almost 4 months, so there’s almost no swelling now. (The shape and skin thickness are almost the same as before surgery.)
First of all, after surgery, there was so little difference that no one noticed, and only after the surgery ended was I informed that it turned out like this because my nose was difficult to get an effect on.
When I first came out after surgery, my nose was completely crooked, so I had revision surgery again that same day, and I said it was okay if a keloid scar remained, just please match the asymmetry.
Even after having surgery twice like that, it’s asymmetrical now. No matter how much I keep asking why the asymmetry is like this, they only say it’s because I was asymmetrical to begin with. But the funny thing is, before I went into the operating room, they measured me like with a ruler and pointed out even my small asymmetry, saying with their own mouths that isn’t it the role of a plastic surgery clinic to fix even this asymmetry lol. But once the asymmetry actually got worse, now they say my face was originally the problem. For reference, I had never once been told I was asymmetrical before lololol. It wasn’t asymmetrical to the point of being this noticeable, and when I said, didn’t you make it worse, they said, “Who says to someone’s face, your face is asymmetrical~ Other people probably also thought your face was asymmetrical but just didn’t say it?” lololol. A person called the manager said it like that.
I don’t care about the keloid scar anymore; the shape is just ruined, and the only differences from before are the asymmetry and the scar.
The hospital feels completely like a family gathering. They’re busy covering for each other. I don’t really know what to do about these people who kept insisting the asymmetry was because of swelling, and I think the best I can do is stop even one person here. Almost all their marketing targets foreign patients, and it seems like Koreans have stopped going there.
The doctor is human too, so there may be days when they do better and days when they make mistakes. But when you end up in this kind of situation here, this is exactly the best treatment you can receive. lol
