ㄴㅌ Diagnosis: Motiva or Mentor Xtra 340-360 cc, transaxillary incision, dual plane Director: Speaks calmly and gently, like listening to a university lecture. He looked carefully and also did the fitting together. Exactly the image I had expected. He looked slightly tired, maybe because he had just come out of surgery. Consultant: No pressure and kind, but seemed very busy. I don’t think she was especially deeply knowledgeable about breast surgery.. I couldn’t ask detailed questions about the surgical method or breast surgery complications. She tends to speak in a somewhat vague way. Impression: The clinic itself was bigger than I expected, and they said aftercare/warranty is lifelong. The interior was very pretty and modern, which I liked. Especially the sinks and things like that were almost hotel-style.
ㅇㄷ Diagnosis: Motiva or Sebbin 335, transaxillary incision, dual plane / After surgery, asymmetry in the nipple line may become a little more noticeable (they said the nipple position itself cannot be corrected) Director: He did feel a little brusque, though it may just be his way of speaking. His explanation style is not long and filled with miscellaneous details. He explains why things are this way, does the fitting, gives the diagnosis, does one Q&A, and that’s it. Still, he did look at me for a fairly long time. Consultant: I don’t remember well.. I think she just gave me the estimate and explained the clinic’s postoperative care and follow-up visit schedule. No pressure to book the same day. Impression: They have inpatient rooms and an examination center, and as a breast surgery clinic the scale is very good, but I didn’t feel a strong moment of being drawn in during the consultation. I think it would be good for someone who wants surgery at a large-scale breast surgery clinic. Lifelong aftercare/warranty.
ㅂㄴㅂㄱ Diagnosis: They said Motiva, Sebbin, or Mentor Xtra would all be fine, 340-380 cc, inframammary incision, dual plane Director: He explained things calmly and well. I was very nervous, but I liked that he made the conversation comfortable. The consultation time was short, but I could still really feel his pride in his work. I liked that I could feel the seasoned expertise?? of someone with a long career. Consultant: She went through everything according to the standard explanation, and only gave the necessary information without any pressure at all. When I said I had an appointment at another clinic next, she told me to look around comfortably and contact them afterward. Impression: I was surprised because the clinic was fairly large. Rather than feeling like there were lots of breast-focused things, it just felt like the clinic itself was big.
ㅂㅂ Diagnosis: Motiva, Mentor Xtra 330-360 cc, dual plane; they said it would be good to do liposuction/fat grafting together Director: Rather than feeling like his explanation was lacking, his tone just felt a bit tired. Still, he explained everything that needed to be explained. Consultant: Kind and explained in detail. Almost like the director, she explained everything from the surgical method to which incision site would be best. Impression: The only clinic that said they use gas anesthesia. They did say it is equivalent to general anesthesia.. (They also said an anesthesiology director is on site.) Postoperative care and such seemed to be fairly well set up, but I was disappointed that the aftercare/warranty is only 1 year.
ㄱㄹ Diagnosis: Sebbin and Mentor Xtra are possible, but Motiva is a bit more advantageous, 300 cc (up to 335 cc maximum possible), inframammary incision, dual plane Director: Felt like a professor. He first gave a clear diagnosis, and if I asked anything I was curious about, he answered thoroughly. He clearly explained what was possible and what was not, so I actually understood and accepted the diagnosis well. The consultation time was on the shorter side. Consultant: Really kind. I wondered if she is a very warm-hearted person, and it seemed like she takes good care of existing patients, so I liked that part. Usually there are many clinics that become popular posts because their attitude differs before and after surgery, but this place doesn’t seem like that. She explained while showing before-and-after surgery photos and statistical data from papers, and there was no pressure about implants or making a reservation. She said she has worked there for over 10 years, and she seemed to have very high trust in the director’s surgical skill. (She said the consultant herself also had surgery at the same clinic.) Impression: Lifelong aftercare/warranty guarantee, 1 year of postoperative care, breast surgery clinic, long-time veteran staff, etc.. A clinic that seemed to have a high level of breast surgery proficiency? It seemed like they pay a lot of attention to patient safety and things like that.. It felt like a model example of what a specialized clinic should be.
I didn’t do any walk-in consultations; I called 1-2 weeks in advance for all of them and visited after making appointments. The waiting time can be longer than expected, so I recommend allowing plenty of time. Whether there is a consultation fee differs by clinic, but they tell you all of that when you book by phone anyway! If they don’t mention a consultation fee at all, that means there isn’t one.
I’m looking to see if there’s anything else to write, but if I write any more in detail, it’ll really get too long lol, so I’ll stop here. If you’re curious about anything else, leave me a message or comment! I’ll answer as much as I know.
