A few days after surgery, I opened my eyes wrong(?) and thought my eye was going to tear apart, but fortunately it recovered. First of all, I did not have the side effects I was most worried about, such as floaters, but my eyes became extremely drier than before, and my vision gradually dropped again from 1.0, so now I think it is around 0.3? It is still dropping, and these days I often wear glasses when working. Most of all, when I open my eyes in the morning, I developed a side effect called corneal erosion (caused by dryness), and if my eye gets suddenly scratched, it hurts so much that I always have to put in artificial tears before I can open my eyes. When getting LASEK, people whose eyes are usually dry or who sleep with their eyes slightly open need to be careful. (They say this often happens if the eyes are protruding.) I also have protruding eyes and a large eye area, and I am the type who cannot close my eyes tightly, so they say it seems worse. I cannot turn back time now, and the cosmetic advantages are clear, so I do not have huge regrets. However, people whose eyes are usually on the weaker side or dry need to take this into account before having surgery. Maybe it is better now because a lot of time has passed, but there were often many difficult times and I worried a lot. My vision has also been dropping a lot lately...
