It has been exactly 5 years since I had arm liposuction at ㄹㅁㄹ. (I was 30 at the time of surgery)
First of all, the clinic was very modern and nice (by the standards back then). The lines of both arms came out well, and they made one hole in the front and one in the back of the armpit, so two holes per arm. I was worried about scarring, but now it doesn’t show at all. They said they made the incisions along the armpit crease, but for the first 1-2 years or so, the scars were visible. (But they were smaller than a bean, so unless someone was deliberately looking to see if I had liposuction, they wouldn’t really notice.)
After liposuction, the lines definitely became pretty and slim, but after giving birth and gaining weight, they got a bit thicker again. Still, even though I weigh more than before surgery, my arms are much thinner than they were before. (They are definitely thicker than at my best point after surgery / it’s not like there was no rebound.)
They didn’t suction them to look extremely skinny (I was 54 kg at the time of surgery), and I think they designed them harmoniously. I only found out later that if you remove too much from the upper arms, the forearms can stand out and become stressful.
I’m now looking into full-body liposuction, but going back there feels burdensome because of the cost, so I’m planning to shop around a bit. It definitely does slim things down.
