I’m a man and I was worried about my bulbous nose. I hope people who are wondering whether to do only alar reduction or also raise the nasal bridge and nasal tip will read this.
First of all, I have some nasal bridge height, so I only had incisional alar reduction. To start with the conclusion, there was no dramatic change.
People whose nostrils look too large when taking a photo from the front while looking into the lens may see an effect.
The nostril size definitely gets smaller, but if you have a nasal bridge like me and a low nasal tip, and the alar base itself looks wide from an oblique angle rather than a full side view, your satisfaction will be lower.
As for scars, maybe because my skin is on the thicker side, even I can barely find where the incision was. I just roughly think it must have been around here. If your complex is simply nostril size and you think the fact that you had alar reduction itself will help you regain confidence, I recommend it. The price is relatively inexpensive and there are no side effects, so think it through carefully.
