I went over two weekends and checked out 4 places by running around! I screened out places with side effects as much as I could, and since I wanted a natural semi-out line with a non-incisional method, I chose a clinic that does that line well. (Actually, I ended up deciding not to do semi-out.) I was told to be careful with the reservation deposit, so I only put it down at one place. I'll try writing a review!
1 ㄸㅋ () It was really famous, and the line style matched mine, so I went with high expectations. It had the most people, and there was also a bit of waiting! The order was photo shoot, assistant consultation, doctor consultation, assistant consultation. The assistant was kind, and there was no push for a deposit. The doctor said he would do everything according to my style, so as it was my first consult, I asked everything I wanted and left after asking all my questions. Incisional eyelid-line correction came up, and everything else was fine. There was no push for unnecessary surgery. Until the third visit, I thought this place seemed okay. They said they provide post-op care for up to 1 year.
2 ㅈㅇㅈㅇ (ㄱ) I went there with the most expectations because there were good reviews in other places and in this community too... In the end, I passed. This was the only clinic that said I had to have an incision, and the price was too high. I was underage, but this was the only place that explained it to my parents too. That point felt a bit off, and there was definitely a sense of treating me as if I couldn’t understand because I am young. The assistant said, "If you can’t match this price, it’s fine if you don’t do it," so I passed.
3 ㅌㅍㅇㅅ (ㅊ) There were only a few people, but somehow it was a long wait, like first-tier busy clinics, around 40 minutes? This was the only place where the assistant came in and marked the line with a toothpick, keeping at it, and my eyes really hurt. What was odd was that they kept asking, one thing after another, about the previous clinic name and fee and procedure details. I couldn’t understand why. The doctor consultation was also really short (it was okay), and this was the only place with deposit pressure. They were so persistent that it took some time to get out.
4 ㅍㄹㅌ (ㅇ) I thought three places would be enough, but it didn’t feel like it, so I quickly checked a place through the community. In the end, I paid the reservation deposit here. From reading reviews, some places feel clearly right, and that one was it for me. There was no waiting at all, and the assistant was the kindest. Instead of recommending profit-driven surgery, she honestly said, as a student, you should never do incision surgery, and told me so. Before I even asked, the assistant explained it in detail. Because it seems like a one-doctor clinic, the doctor consultation was really long. He firmly said that people this young should not do incision surgery. He said doing it non-incisionally would be okay, and the price was also reasonable. I could tell from the manner that they had done many surgeries and had been there a long time. They said aftercare is solid and after-service (A/S) is done well. No deposit pressure!
