It’s been about 1 year now since I started orthodontic treatment.
Whenever I went to the dentist because of protruding mouth + malocclusion, I would always hear that orthodontic treatment would probably be a good idea. I also wanted it for cosmetic reasons, so I started orthodontic treatment.
I started extraction orthodontics, and had 2 canine teeth and 1 molar extracted. It’s only been about 1 year, but I feel like my mouth has moved inward a lot. Originally, my upper and lower teeth met against each other,
but my lower teeth have moved inward a lot, toward the inside of my upper teeth. I think my face shape also looks smaller, maybe because the lower face has moved inward a bit!
It’s been 1 year, and I’m continuing with it while feeling satisfied~~ There are inconveniences, but I think orthodontic treatment is definitely worth doing for people with concerns like mine... One concern is that I want to get my nose done, and I heard that if you have rhinoplasty while undergoing orthodontic treatment, there are many things to consider!
So I’m going to try coordinating well between my orthodontic doctor and the nose consultation doctor. haha
