<Pineapple><After stitch removal, with compression band><After stitch removal, without compression band>Before<Before surgery>Hello!! I had 3 types of facial contouring and breast surgery together. Some older friends I know recommended it, so I went for a consultation on the 19th. When I told the consultant which areas I wanted and my budget, she was so kind and checked which implants would fit my budget, and the consultation ended in a fun way with smiles ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Then I finally met the director for the consultation, and he explained in detail where and how the bone should be shaved to achieve the contour I wanted. He explained it almost like a lecture, so it really clicked for me! I should do it here!!! I had come determined to have surgery, so I wanted the earliest possible date, and I had surgery two days later, on Wednesday the 21st.
The night before surgery, maybe because I was worried about having two major surgeries, my stomach hurt and I slept lightly. Looking back now, I think what I felt then was more fear than worry. It was something I wanted to do, but I was also scared. I endured it, arrived in Gangnam, got the injection, changed clothes, was disinfected, had the final design done, and lay down on the operating table. When the anesthesiologist said, “It’ll feel heavy,” I passed out just like that. When I woke up, the surgery was over. After surgery, there I was, turned into a pineapple, and maybe because my throat was dry or because of the anesthesia, my voice wouldn’t come out. My throat was so dry that I wanted to drink water, but they said not to drink water yet, so I was so sad ㅜㅜㅜㅜ Still, the nurses noticed that I couldn’t speak and brought me Post-its, so I could write on them to communicate. It was hard to write, but I was relieved I could still communicate. There was a bell in the inpatient room, and when I pressed it, the nurses came quickly even at dawn to care for me, though I also felt bad for calling them at dawn. Oh, and the night view was really pretty, but because I had my breasts and jaw done together, I couldn’t move my body, so I couldn’t look outside ㅜㅜ I also had an IV, antibiotics, and drains connected the whole time. When daytime came, after endless rounds of IV fluids and antibiotics, I saw the director, had the bandages removed, lay down a bit longer, and was discharged. After discharge, I stayed at an older friend’s house, but I couldn’t move my body and couldn’t even get porridge down, so I just lay there like a corpse drinking only Pocari Sweat. The next day, I showed up looking like a zombie, so she was shocked, and I got an injection and lay down for a while before coming back.
On day 3, the taping was removed, and from then on I ate porridge. By around days 5-6, I could move around somewhat. On day 7, I went back to the hospital to have the stitches removed, and they said, “It’ll be a little uncomfortable,” but it hurt a lot ㅜㅜㅜㅜ The stitches inside the mouth hurt the most in particular. It hurt so much that while they were removing them, I ended up crying and sobbing ㅠㅜㅜㅠㅠㅠㅠ The director checked my condition again, and when I went home and ate porridge, even though stitch removal hurt, after they were out, eating and rinsing definitely became much easier. It hurt less from the stitches catching, so I was so happy that I didn’t have to cry while eating anymore!! It’s still only day 7, so I’ll write only up to here and upload another review after more time passes!
