Before<before restoration>After<left eye after restoration>After<right eye after restoration>Hello. A few months ago, I wrote a review about my botched lateral and lower canthoplasty and another post about looking around for restoration consultations. I visited 4 clinics for consultations and had the restoration surgery on May 16.
I live outside Seoul, so I went up to Seoul, visited 4 clinics in one day, chose the clinic for surgery that same day, paid the deposit, and booked the surgery right away.
First of all, the reason I chose this clinic was that there were so many restoration reviews on the director’s blog, and during the in-person consultation, I could also feel the director’s confidence from having performed a lot of restoration surgeries.
Actually, out of the 4 places I visited, the consultation with this director was the most brief and casual. The other places gave very detailed consultations and were very empathetic, but this director felt like they were talking as if it wasn’t a big deal?
It’s now been two months since surgery, and personally I’m very satisfied. People around me also say it looks completely natural and turned out well, so I’m really happy.
If there’s anything uncomfortable, it’s that my lower eyelashes grow upward? That also happened after my previous canthoplasty surgery.. It doesn’t really bother me, so I’m planning to just live with it while getting lower lash perms.
And second, there’s a little bit of scar tissue visible on the right side, but when you see it in person, it’s not bothersome enough to worry about, so I don’t really mind it.
Before restoration, eye makeup was a must, but these days I can go around just fine without eye makeup.
I went to Seoul yesterday for a follow-up, and since it came to mind, I’m posting my restoration review too.
There seem to be more people in this community than I expected who are stressed because of lateral and lower canthoplasty, so everyone, don’t lose hope and definitely look into restoration!
