I went last week and visited 3 clinics. Out of the 8 places I researched online, I visited the ones where I could coordinate my schedule with the clinic’s hours. My surgery goals were eyes & nose, but since I had no surgery experience, I wanted to do my eyes before my nose. At the first clinic, I wanted to get an overall consultation for eyes & nose & facial contouring and decide on the direction for surgery.
ㅇㄷㅈ: Among the visit reviews, it met the conditions of being a one-doctor clinic, doctor consultation, and detailed consultation, so I went there first. Compared with the places I visited later, I could definitely hear a more detailed explanation about the surgical method. However, personally I didn’t feel sure, so I put it on hold.
Through that consultation, they said my nose and facial contouring weren’t particularly necessary, and recommended partial-incision inline double eyelid surgery without needing epicanthoplasty or upper canthoplasty.
ㅇㅋㅇ: I heard it was fairly well-known, so I got an eye consultation. They said I would consult with the consultant first, and if I booked surgery, I could also have a doctor consultation. I was similarly recommended a partial-incision, inline double eyelid procedure for inner double eyelids. (I wondered if this is how most men get double eyelid surgery these days.) They said epicanthoplasty was optional, so I’m thinking about it.
ㅈㅅㅎ: It was a one-doctor clinic with doctor consultation, and the director had a direct personality, so the consultation was quick and clear. They said that if I got eye surgery, I might move away from my current image and end up looking greasy.
So in the end, I decided to put eye surgery on hold. Instead, I started wondering whether it would be right to do my nose before my eyes.
