I got two types of facial contouring, cheekbone reduction, under-chin liposuction, fat grafting for sunken cheeks, and came back! I heard facial contouring was less painful than expected, so I went in without really being nervous, and the doctor was so kind. The anesthesiology doctor and nurses all treated me well too, so I went in without major worries. I really didn’t even know the surgery was happening and felt like I fell asleep instantly lolololol. When I woke up, my face was really... like a rock ㅜㅜ It felt so heavy, my throat hurt, my mouth wouldn’t close, my head hurt, and it was total chaos ㅜ lolol I just kept zoning out, then struggled like crazy to eat ice cream, rinsed my mouth, and the mouthwash tasted seriously awful and I didn’t want to do it. I had no sensation in my lips so everything dribbled out, sob sob. A little later I ate porridge, and around 4 o’clock I think I finally came back to my senses properly. Even after I was discharged and came home, I took medicine and ate porridge. The first night was a bit hard ㅜㅜ I kept waking up and was completely out of it.
And today, day 2, I went to get disinfected. My face swelled a bit more, so I walked for about an hour before going to the hospital. The swelling definitely went down and I felt more human, but my face is still very puffy. I washed my hair, got swelling care, shopped and looked around nearby, then came home, ate porridge, and took a nap lololol I think my swelling is not as bad as I expected, but I do have some bruising ㅜㅜ Also, the sensation for moving my lips is slower on one side. They said it would come back soon, so I’m doing “a-e-i-o-u” exercises.
They say it swells more on day 3, but somehow I feel like I won’t swell that much....? Anyway, I’m planning to go for another walk tonight. Tomorrow I’m really going to go out and have fun.
